Learn About the Healthcare System in Calgary
Join an AHS health educator for a free 90 minute talk to learn more about healthcare in Calgary on Thursday, April 24th, 6:30pm-8:30pm at West Springs Church (WSC). The talk will be geared towards English Language Learners CLB2/3.
Learn about: 811, walk-in clinics, after-hours clinics, family doctors, urgent care clinics, emergency services, mental health resources, and interpretation services. Dessert & tea/coffee at 6:30pm. 7:00pm-8:30pm is the AHS presentation & question time.

We will once again be offering a range of activities to help you get connected to others and practice English Conversation with Canadian English speakers!

From January 9th to May 22nd 2025 we will be offering a combination of opportunities for English Practice:
face to face / in person practice sessions at West Springs Church (WSC) — three times a month
online conversation practice via ZOOM from your own home — once a month
Family social times at the WSC — once a month
