From the Free Methodist Church in Canada (FMCIC):

As we approach the season of Lent we want to equip churches with useful resources. Thanks to the contributions of Rev. Matthew McEwen, Lead Pastor at Holt Free Methodist Church in Mount Albert, Joy McEwen along with the Intergenerational Team we have compiled a list of resources including a PDF for families. 

  • Bible reading plan: the lectionary provides daily Scripture readings. Lectionary Year A

  • 40 Songs for Lent: songs of confession & repentance from a variety of music genres (bluegrass to rock to hip-hop).  Some long lost Wesley hymns and some modern songs for reflection on the Lenten journey. Spotify Playlist
